Engagement ROI Calculator

How much is your employees' engagement worth?

Why is employee engagement a critical business metric?

Employee engagement is no longer merely a "soft" value — it is a direct profit driver. Engaged employees (high eNPS) work with passion, recommend the company to others and create better value for customers. Employees with low engagement are a hidden cost.

What does this calculator show you?

This tool helps you measure in monetary terms the gains from improving eNPS (employee net promoter score). The model is based on international research (Gallup 2024/2025, Bain & Company) and PEOPS-calibrated coefficients for the Estonian market, taking into account two key impact factors:

1. Employee retention: employees with high eNPS leave less frequently. Each replacement consists of recruiting costs, vacancy costs and onboarding costs — totalling 0.65x to 3.25x the annual salary depending on the role. The calculator shows how much you save on retention alone.

2. Productivity growth: Gallup (2024) confirms that engaged teams show up to 18% higher sales productivity and 23% higher profitability. The model uses a conservative estimate: 2% revenue growth per 10 eNPS points. They make fewer errors and bring better ideas.

The calculator also shows return on investment (ROI): do engagement programmes, events and training pay for themselves? Enter your planned investment and see whether it earns itself back.

The calculator is based on conservative assumptions to avoid inflated numbers. The detailed methodology and coefficients used are described in the calculator's "Calculation methodology" button.

PEOPS helps you measure, analyse and improve the employee experience, turning HR into a strategic business partner.
